Q2. How can Traders and Investors benefit from Amxsys?
Answer: We will be publishing trading signals for the various markets we cover (described above), and Traders/Investors can use those trading signals to do trades on their own. Traders will constantly be aware of our market view, based on the Buy/Sell signals on the key market indices. Traders can also benefit from the notes/comments we put on the trading signals, to understand the scope or size of a specific trading signal, and decide how they can use it in their trading work.
Q3. What are trading signals and how can Traders/Investors use them?
Answer: Trading signals are Buy/Sell signals for a specific market or asset or instrument at a given time. However, we know that different Traders operate with different levels of risk tolerance and different timeframes. Therefore, our trading signals are generated based on hourly and daily charts, so that they are highly relevant to Active Traders and Positional Traders who trade in the hourly and daily timeframes, with typical trading positions for 1-5 days. Our trading signals are also suitable for Intraday Traders, especially in the case of rapid market moves, or in a trending market.
Q4. Can Intraday Traders benefit from Amxsys?
Answer: Yes, Intraday Traders can benefit sometimes but not always, because most of our trading signals come from hourly and daily timeframes, and the trades play out in those timeframes. Sometimes the buy/sell signal may play out on the same day, but its not something that can be used for Intraday ongoing basis. Intraday Traders can benefit from the trend indicated by the Amxsys system for key indices like S&P500 and Nasdaq100, and use that for their specific trades.
For example, here’s a Buy signal: “Buy S&P 500 Futures above 2500 for Target 2600”. This signal tells you to stay long above 2500, so Positional Traders can utilize it. Intraday Traders can also utilize it in parts, knowing they have to stay long above 2500.
Q5. How are trading signals different from trades?
Answer: Multiple trades are possible with the same trading signal, based on each trader’s experience, capital and risk tolerance.
For example, here is a trading signal on S&P500 futures: “Buy S&P 500 Futures above 2500 for Target 2600”. Its says you can stay long above 2500 for likely target 2600. Now, here are 5 different trades possible using just this one trading signal:
Buy at 2500 for Target 2600 with Stop loss 2470.
Buy at 2500 for Target 2550 with Stop loss 2480.
Buy at 2520 for Target 2550 with Stop loss 2500.
Buy at 2530 for Target 2600 with Stop loss 2500.
Buy at 2550 for Target 2600 with Stop loss 2530.
Therefore, different traders can construct different trades, while staying long above 2500. The key message of the above trading signal is that staying long above 2500 can give 100 points gain, because 2600 target is visible, once the futures start trading above 2500 level.
Here’s another example. In Feb 2020 when S&P 500 Futures were at 3380, we published 3320 as the Absolute Stop Loss on all long trades of S&P 500 Futures, which saved our traders from huge losses in the following weeks. Some traders also used that to create short trades with 3320 as Stop loss, and it worked very well for them. So we can create multiple trades from each trading signal, based on the amount of capital available and risk tolerance.
Q6. How are the trades shared with Members/Subscribers?
Answer: All trades published by Amxsys are on a single Google Sheet, which is shared with our Members/Subscribers.The Google sheet is our method of communication with our Members/Subscribers. We will publish all updates on that Google sheet. You should keep watching that Google sheet, because new trades, and updates to existing trades will be posted directly on that Google sheet. One of the main reasons for selecting Google Sheet is that it comes with the high reliability and security of Google website.
Q7. When are trading signals published?
Answer: Trading Signals are published as and when they appear in our trading systems. Most trading signals are published between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm US Eastern Time (New York time). We may also publish trading signals on a weekend, based on the weekly data analysis.
Q8. What if the index or instrument I want to trade is not covered by Amxsys? Will you be able to use your AI trading system for it?
Answer: We are planning to add more markets and ETFs by Dec 2022 like Wheat, Corn, Soybean, Coffee, Copper futures, etc. based on demand from our traders. Please contact us to send your requirements and suggestions. We are open to adding new markets and instruments if more than 20 Members/Traders are interested.
Q9. How do you generate trading signals for various markets?
Answer: Based on our study of different markets spanning the last 20 to 100 years, we have developed our AI-based trading systems to generate trading signals over 4 different timeframes: hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly. This enables us to see short term and long term simultaneously, and it helps us to create reliable and profitable trading signals. In every market we track, our system has generated trading signals that have generated good net profit by the end of the year.
Q10. What kind of Technical Analysis or Technical Indicators are used by Amxsys?
Answer: Amxsys uses a wide range of Technical Indicators in selecting the suitable trading setups (or trading opportunities with attractive setups). Higher weightage is given to the following: Momentum Indicators, Trend Indicators (especially non-linear/parabolic trend indicators), Regression Analysis/Indicators, Long term moving averages on weekly and monthly timeframes.
Q11. What kind of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used by Amxsys?
Answer: Amxsys uses a type of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology known as “Artificial Neural Networks”, which are often called as “Neural Networks”, which are computing systems inspired by the biological neural networks that constitute the human/biological brains.
Technical Description: A Neural Network is based on a collection of connected nodes called artificial neurons, which loosely model the neurons in a human/biological brain. Each connection, like the synapses in a biological brain, can transmit a signal to other neurons. An artificial neuron receives signals then processes them and can signal neurons connected to it. The “signal” at a connection is a real number, and the output of each neuron is computed by some non-linear function of the sum of its inputs. The connections are called edges. Neurons and edges typically have a weight that adjusts as learning proceeds. The weight increases or decreases the strength of the signal at a connection. Neurons may have a threshold such that a signal is sent only if the aggregate signal crosses that threshold. Typically, neurons are aggregated into layers. Different layers may perform different transformations on their inputs. Signals travel from the first layer (the input layer), to the last layer (the output layer), possibly after traversing the layers multiple times.
Q12. What is the most challenging step for creating a trading system, using neural networks?
Answer: Creating a trading system using neural networks involves several challenging steps, including data collection, data preprocessing, model selection, training, and testing. However, perhaps the most challenging step is achieving reliable and accurate performance of the neural network model in real-world trading conditions.
The challenge lies in the fact that the market is constantly changing, and the neural network model must be able to adapt to new market conditions and identify patterns that are relevant to the current market environment. This requires a deep understanding of the underlying market dynamics and the ability to fine-tune the model’s parameters and inputs to achieve optimal performance.
Additionally, over-fitting is a common problem when creating trading systems using neural networks. Over-fitting occurs when the model is trained too closely to the historical data and fails to generalize to new data in real-world trading conditions. This can lead to poor performance and inaccurate buy/sell signals.
To overcome these challenges, it is important to have a thorough understanding of the neural network model and the technical indicators used in the trading system. Regular monitoring and refining of the system are also crucial to ensure that it remains effective in real-world trading conditions.
Q13. How does Amxsys use Artificial Intelligence (AI)?
Answer: Amxsys uses AI based systems to do the following steps:
(a) Regularly scan and analyze the different markets under our coverage (in different timeframes)
(b) Select all trading setups/trading opportunities with attractive setups (based on last 20-50 years of market data), along with a grading score to indicate their probability of success (attractiveness of risk-reward).
(c) Create a shortlist of best looking trading setups/trading opportunities with high probability of success.
Then we manually verify the shortlist and post it on the Trading Dashboard, which is visible to all our Members/Subscribers.
Q14. Can the Amxsys trading signals for Index Futures (like S&P500, Nasdaq100 or Nifty) be used for trading Index Options instead of Futures?
Answer: Yes, it is possible to use our futures trading signals to trade Options, but it has to be done very carefully (and not everyone can do it correctly), because Options are much more complex than futures because of time value, volatility, and different sets of Options e.g. In Money, At Money, Near Money, and Far Out of Money — and the behavior these Options is very different in the same timeframe, while Futures move from point A to point B along with the Index, and given the planned gains. Traders may get similar results as Futures by using In Money or At Money Options, but the complexity is high even though the capital required is lower for options trading.
Q15. Do you offer Investment Advice?
Answer: No, we don’t give Investment Advice. We publish the trading signals generated by our trading system in different markets, and we publish the same information for all our Subscribers based worldwide. Therefore, Amxsys is publishing market research. Please consult a registered Investment Advisor for your specific case.
